We’re here to help you find the best affordable hotels in Paris that are also conveniently located near the city center and key landmarks. A significant portion of any travel budget often goes toward accommodation, and this can be even more challenging in a popular, expansive destination like Paris.
But don’t worry—we’re here to show you that finding reasonably priced hotels in Paris is very doable.
Here are some highly-rated affordable hotels with excellent value for money. These options come with outstanding guest reviews and offer a comfortable stay:
1. Luna Park Hotel
Luna Park Hôtel is a very budget-friendly option located in Paris’s 11th district, near attractions like the Saint-Martin Canal and Place de la République. We’ve stayed here a couple of times and found it to be a great choice.
The hotel is well-connected by several metro stations, so you can quickly reach any part of the city. From the hotel, you can even walk to the Père Lachaise Cemetery and explore other points of interest in the district.
Rooms are simple but come with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. Keep in mind that they aren’t spacious or luxurious, making this a good choice for those planning to spend most of their time out exploring Paris rather than in the hotel itself.
2. Le Village Montmartre
The hotel is just steps away from the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and the bustling Place du Tertre, where you can enjoy street artists and relax at a café. It’s also close to metro stations, making it easy to explore the rest of Paris.
This hotel offers more amenities and a better design than Luna Park, so it comes at a slightly higher price. Rooms include air conditioning, private bathrooms, and a leisure area with internet access.
3. Smart Place Gare du Nord
It is a budget hostel designed for young people and travelers where you can get tips on activities happening around the city to help tourists explore Paris in an organized way.
Located just a few meters from the Gare du Nord train station, it’s the perfect budget accommodation for seeing the city center as well as nearby areas. Additionally, getting there from any airport is straightforward and affordable by train.
The rooms are modern, clean, and include private bathrooms and air conditioning—perfect for summer stays. Plus, the hostel offers a pleasant surprise: a shared kitchen where you can prepare homemade meals daily.
The neighborhood is lively both day and night, with plenty of restaurants and shops of all kinds. Additionally, it’s close to the Montmartre district, where you can head for dinner. I recommend this hotel for backpackers, young travelers, and couples looking to enjoy Paris without overspending.
4. Hotel NH Paris Gare de l’Est
This hotel, located at 6 Rue de Jarry close to Place de la République, is rated two stars and includes a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with free Internet access for all guests. This affordable hotel in central Paris has a strong reputation and is a reliable choice for comfort and convenience.
The rooms come with private bathrooms. A nice touch is the service includes coffee packets, tea bags, sugar, cream, cups, spoons, and a coffee maker so you can enjoy a tea or coffee in the comfort of your room.
And now to what interests you most: the price. Rates typically range from €75 to €100 per night for a double room, with breakfast included, so you won’t have to worry about finding a café in the morning.
5. Hotel Darcet
Hôtel Darcet is one of the most affordable hotels in the 17th arrondissement, very close to Montmartre, one of my favorite areas to stay for the wide range of activities available. Additionally, the Place de Clichy metro station is just a few steps away, making transportation easy.
Regarding room quality, they are modern and well-equipped (air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms). For those who prefer not to dine out every day, a shared kitchen is available for guests to prepare their meals.
This budget Paris hotel is an excellent value for its superb quality-price ratio and the many options nearby for dining, drinking, and enjoying the nightlife.
6. Hotel Beauvoir
Now we come to a hotel that’s budget-friendly yet a cut above the others. As you can see from the photo above, the rooms offer both quality and comfort. Located in Paris’s historic 5th arrondissement, it’s a great place to soak in authentic Parisian vibes. Walking distance to attractions like the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Gardens, and close to the vibrant Latin Quarter (it’s a quick walk to the lively Rue Mouffetard), this area is full of Parisian charm.
The rooms are modern with a Nordic style, making them spacious and very bright. They come with free Internet, private bathrooms, and air conditioning for the warmer months. You also have the option to reserve a room with a continental breakfast, which guests rave about, so I highly recommend it.
During peak season, room rates are usually around €150, but if you visit during less busy months, you can find rates of around €100 per night for a double room.
7. Hotel D’win
Hotel D’win is one of my top choices because the rooms are all modern and recently renovated, so you’ll find them very comfortable. They offer everything you need to relax after a day of sightseeing. In fact, there’s an extra feature that’s a favorite of mine—some rooms come with private balconies, allowing you to soak up the Parisian street ambiance even more.
The hotel is very close to Place des Vosges and the Pompidou Center, as well as several metro stations, making it easy to reach any part of Paris quickly. There’s also an optional continental breakfast if you’d rather not go looking for a café each morning.
Additionally, you can’t miss exploring the Marais neighborhood, where D’win is located. This area is famous for its cobblestone streets and abundant dining options everywhere you look. My recommendation is to take leisurely evening walks and have dinner at a different spot each night—you’ll love the experience.
8. Hotel Marignan
Hotel Marignan is one of the best-located hotels on this list because it’s right in the heart of the Latin Quarter of the historic center, just steps from the Sorbonne University, the Pantheon, the bustling Rue Mouffetard, and the Luxembourg Gardens, with several nearby metro stops as a bonus.
Also, the hotel is situated on a side street, so nights are quiet, allowing for a peaceful sleep. Breakfast is included in the stay, and guests can use the hotel’s kitchen and dishwasher free of charge.

Guests frequently highlight the comfort of the beds and the clean, simple decor of the rooms, which were recently renovated. The hotel also serves a breakfast buffet each morning, offering a wide selection of pastries, fruits, and hot drinks—the perfect way to start a day of exploring.
Standard room rates in peak season range from €100 to €120, which is quite reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.

The Appart’hôtel Odalys can be found in the city’s 17th arrondissement, just a 20-minute public transport ride to the city center and a 30-minute metro ride to the Champs-Élysées or a 20-minute drive to La Défense. You can also walk to Montmartre, Parc Monceau, and the lively Place de Clichy.
Notable amenities at this hotel include a 24-hour reception, laundry service, and a fully equipped gym for guests to use at their convenience. Each morning, a high-quality and varied breakfast buffet is available.

Rooms at the Aloha Hostel Eiffel Tower are suitable for a variety of guests, from solo travelers to groups. The hostel offers both private rooms and shared dorms that can accommodate up to four people. The décor is charming and reflects a traditional Parisian style.
You can choose between rooms with private bathrooms or those with shared facilities, depending on your budget. Plus, a shared kitchen is available if you prefer to prepare your own meals.
The area isn’t right in the center, but there’s plenty to explore nearby, including Boulevard Montparnasse and Saint Germain des Prés. I recommend this spot to backpackers and young travelers who want to save on accommodation.
13. Hotel Richard Lenoir
Next up is one of the most affordable hotels in Paris. You won’t find luxury amenities here, but it’s a good option for a simple and budget-friendly stay.
Hotel Richard Lenoir is in the heart of Paris, between Place de la Bastille and Père Lachaise Cemetery, located at 35 Rue Richard Lenoir. The hotel offers 24-hour reception, free WiFi, a café, and translation services.
This is the least expensive option on our list. You can get a double room for €35 per night. At this price, there’s no full bathroom in the room—just a sink. Shared bathrooms are available on the same floor as your room.
14. Hotel Regina Montmartre
This one-star establishment is located near the Sacred Heart church with an exact address of 7 Rue Simart. These affordable Paris apartments are spacious and comfortable, featuring satellite TV, a phone, and a bathroom with a shower.
It’s a centrally located hotel in Paris offering a continental breakfast. Continental breakfasts generally include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juices, bread, and pastries. As for room rates at the Amarys Simart, the double room without breakfast ranges from 100 to 120 euros. This is one of the best-known budget hotels in Paris.

The Hotel Regina Montmartre is surrounded by various restaurants, as it is in a busy district. Based on reviews from Spanish tourists, it’s considered a great option and one of the top destinations for a stay.
15. Hotel Du Brabant
The hotel we present here is close to the Montmartre district, located specifically on rue des Petits Hôtels, République, which can be easily found on the city map. It is one of the city’s most famous and centrally located hotels in Paris.
As for the apartment conditions, the apartments are soundproofed and come with a TV, desk, and bathroom. Wi-Fi is available in common areas, with better coverage in the rooms, and access is free in common areas.
The hotel reception has limited hours, closing between 2 and 6 a.m. However, this doesn’t mean the hotel is empty or less secure during these hours, as there is a night security guard, and the hotel is close to the metro stop.
Room rates at this hotel start above 50 euros per night, and in our opinion, it’s worth it. Double rooms are an excellent value at around 80 euros.
16. Hipotel Chain
This is a hotel chain located in Paris and its surroundings, not central but easily accessible by metro. These budget hotels in Paris are scattered across the city’s outskirts, offering lower rates than those in the city center while situated in accessible neighborhoods.
There are 16 hotels in Paris belonging to this chain. They vary widely, with three-star, two-star, and unclassified options. We focus on the unclassified hotels as the most economical choices.
